Regular visitors will have realised I fell behind with the index. I do want to update it because it is so much easier to visit blogs when there's an updated index... but there are so many titles to add now that I am feeling a bit daunted.
I wish Blogger had some functionality to take care of this! If anyone has a suggestion other than adding titles one by one I would love to hear it...

DeleteNo idea of any way to do it other than either the labels that we do at HT, or to sit there and add them all manually.
ReplyDeleteMaybe give yourself a target of say adding 10 a day so that you are biting off little bits rather than one huge project?
I thought about the labels for an author index. I think I'll try your second suggestion and if I can't keep up I'll go with the author's index only.
DeleteI'm still doing it manually, haven't found any other way to do it in a blog. In a normal website, you'd use some sort of database programme, but that's beyond me (and it would be such a big job to migrate 10 years worth of posts to a database, that I'm not really interested in learning how to do it!)
ReplyDeleteI think Wordpress also has an easier way to do it. I've been hoping Blogger would eventually come up with one too but I guess not. Oh yes, if it's too technical it's not for me either...
