In Beat of Temptation , innocent Tamsyn has always had a place in her heart for Nathan, a blooded DarkRiver sentinel. But is she ready for the fierce demands of the mating bond?
In Stroke of Enticement , a wary young teacher, skeptical about love, arouses the man—and the animal—in an aggressive leopard changeling who must prove his affections are true.
In Declaration of Courtship , Grace, a shy submissive wolf, finds herself pursued by the last man she ever would have imagined: a SnowDancer lieutenant said to be “mad, bad, and dangerous to know.”
In Texture of Intimacy , SnowDancer healer Lara discovers the searing joys—and unexpected challenges—of being mated to quiet, powerful Walker, a man used to keeping his silence.
When I finished Heart of Obsidian I was sorry to leave that world and this anthology seemed just the right thing to keep me in that world. I had already read Beat of Temptation and Stroke of Enticement so I jumped to the next stories.
Declaration of Courtship
This was a nice story but to be honest I wasn't much invested in the characters. I'm more into the Psy world at the moment and since this is a novella it is more about the romantic relationship. That in it self wasn't bad, I don't remember seeing a story with a submissive before so that was an original angle. I quite liked Cooper and his restraint towards Grace. Grade: 3.5/5
Texture of Intimacy
I enjoyed this one a lot more but I'm sure that the fact that we get to know more about the Psy world has something to do with it. I quite like Walker and Lara and here we get to know more about his past and what Judd went through with the Arrows. Aden shows up a lot in Walked and Judd's conversations and I was thinking he might be next but now we know Vasic will be the hero in the next book. I'm looking forward to it. Grade: 4/5
