I'm a little bit late with my post this month as this should have been posted yesterday. But here it is, my monthly post participating in the What's on Your Nightstand hosted by 5 Minutes For books.
I managed to read almost everything I had planned last month with the exception of Emma that I still have hopes to finish till the end of the month. I think I do better with smaller piles so I'm listing only 3 books. I have found that I always get sidetracked and start other reads according to my mood so there's no point in selecting many in advance.
Never too late! =)
ReplyDeleteI so hear you about keeping your list small. Leaves room for flexibility!
Good luck finishing Emma!
Yes, I know too well the danger of setting my goals too high, and then life steps in and throws all my lofty reading ideas to the wayside! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I had the same books on my nightstand for months and months, until I got my new bookcase and moved them all so now I am back to a more manageable size and I am more likely to actually read them as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carrie and Morninglight Mama! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck your pile Marg!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Jane Eyre! And you have to watch the BBC's latest version of Jane Eyre.... You'll love it! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! And welcome back!
Is that the one with Toby Stephens? I watched and I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear you about reading according to your mood!!!
ReplyDeleteI tired making it through Emma but just could not. It currently is stashed away.
Jane Eyre is one of my all-time favorites. I so hope you enjoy the read.
Happy Reading!
