Some urban details...
Marvão is undergoing extensive renovating works and it will look even better after those are done. They are preparing their candidacy to the World Heritage Fund and I'm thinking maybe that's why such extensive work. You can't see it from the photos though.
The Castle... once you're up there it's not difficult to imagine life in the medieval times...
On the way home a stop to look at a megalitic ruin, the Menhir da Povoa. It's 4 meters high.
