The Simpsons

We spent Christmas afternoon watching the Simpsons DVD that Santa was nice enough to bring L. The movie is great fun with Homer being his usual self centered self who, in spite of his daughter's campaign to save a nearby lake spills his new pet's waste in said lake and provokes a catastrophe. I found it hilarious that the pig was called Spider Pig and I just couldn't stop singing the song in spanish that Ro taught me.

The movie follows the family's adventures after the government shuts the town into a glass dome due to the pollution and the Simpsons end up running away after a lynching attempt on Homer's life and later come back to save Springfield.

It was the perfect Christmas day movie (even if it's not about Christmas) because it got everyone around the TV sharing some great laughs.

  1. Ah, you, too? I'm still going "puerco araña, puerco araña, al mal ataca con su telaraña..." in my head even now! Total earworm.
