What's On Your Nightstand?

Time to check the TBR pile once more. I'm afraid I missed last month's event because I was on vacation. This means I read a few more than what was planned but also that I wasn't very strict with myself and some books from my photo 2 months ago are still here.

I am planning to behave this month though because I want to save December for my Christmas reading and I want to get all these finished by then. Wish me luck on fulfilling that goal! :-)

  4. I so hear you about wanting to finish up all the "required" stuff by the end of November. I, too, want December to be all about fun re-reads for myself. No "obligations."

    Have fun reading this month!

  8. I saw that you had two Tracy Chevalier books in your stack. I recently read Burning Bright by Chevalier and really liked it. I'll look forward to your reviews of these others.

  10. The 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' was a very nice, sweetie, cosy surprise and it became a most enjoable reading.
'The Lady and the unicorn' i read it after the 'girl' when i was already thinking i would never find such an enjoyable book as the fist one. The way the story is telled and some of the details are very well presented. I'm sure you will love both of them.
The food taster is funny but not so good as a the others 'cause the historical ambiance is not so well developed.
And finaly, the Trigiani one i read when at holidays and it was good chiclit material. lol
I can't wait to see what you think of all of them!
