I am looking forward to reading your thoughts about the far pavillions and cotillion. the latter is one of my all time favourite Hayers -, it is such a fun story! I loved TFP when I read it as a teenager but found it very long-winded when reading it again - although I still enjoyed parts of it a lot. My favourite by Kaye is "shadows of the moon", which I can recommend highly! Happy reading...
