More Cookies

So recently I've tried 2 more cookie recipes, the Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe by Nestle that Alex sent me:

350g flour
200g Nestle chocolate chips
8 table spoons of condensed milk
250g melted butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla

1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
2. Mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt.
3. Beat the butter and the condensed milk and add the eggs.
4. Mix everything together and add the chocolate bits.

Spoon the mixture on to a baking tray, slightly flatening each cookie with a fork. Cook for 15-20 minutes till they are golden.

And the Chocolate Coconut Squares that I found here. Both worked out very well and were really easy to make even if the chocolate chip ones came out a bit on the giant side again.

  1. Both look yummy! I'm planning on trying out new cookie recipes this Xmas, so I'll save your post.

  2. They taste very good. I wanted to try baking more but I don't know if I should. It seems the better they taste the faster I eat them...

  3. Yum. I'm not much for sweets usually but I've been craving cookies lately.

My family is coming over on Saturday (mom, aunt, sister, grandma) and we're going to do some holiday baking. I think I'll try these out.

    Thanks Ana!

  4. If you do try the let me know how you liked them. The squarers are not very sweet if you prefer those type.

I love to chat about books and stuff and I would love to hear from like minded readers. Please do leave me a comment :-)
